History
| Personal History | She was only a few months old when her Adoptive father, Johnathan Villanova found her on a disabled Orion Slaver ship, in 2371. Her father was the Second in command of the USS Phoenix. He returned home with her and was quickly adopted, after it was discovered about her birth defect. Her childhood was pretty normal on Earth, but for her hyper behavior. Her adoptive family had to deal with her various interests as she was attempting to stem off boredom. When she graduated High School at the age of 12, and attended Cambridge College for a few years until she was accepted into the Vulcan Science Academy. She studied Biology, which she received her PhD in when she applied to Starfleet. She wanted to travel the universe to further her understand of the Biology of various planets within and outside of Federation space. She was floored when she failed the entrance exam once, but 3 times. This only made her want to join Starfleet even more. When she took the entrance exam for enlisted officers she passed and was granted a position. She spent the next 2 years studying the various other sciences, sense she already had a PhD in Biology. She found that she enjoyed studying Astrophysics, Warp Field Theory and Mechanics. She found Botany a bit boring, but studied as part of the Biology package. Her first posting was the USS Kitty Hawk, an old Constellation-class. This ship was underpowered and understaff, but we made due with our resources. I was a science tech, under Lieutenant Glass. He was a rough commanding officer, making his people work long hours, which was alright for her, since she don't sleep much. In the five years on board the Kitty Hawk, they discovered 8 new civilizations, a rock eating bacteria, that plays havoc with the nervous system of Vulcans. She was transferred to the USS Yankee Clipper, which was a New Orleans-class. That ship had a list of issues longer then an Engineer's worst nightmare at ten-fold. She did enjoy this posting, but when some Pirates getting their mitts on some Sub-space mines. The ship lost most of its command staff in that attack. She had to pilot the ship for three weeks, before they were in Communications range. She was referred to the Officer Candidate School to get her Commission as an Officer. She studied hard and passed and received her commission. She was over joyed at finally being an Officer. Then the orders came down from Command that she was to report to the USS Wellington, which was heading for the Delta Quadrant. |
