Kasella was in what was effectively her ready room at this point, getting updates on the Cardassian fleet that was coming their way. So far, everything looked like it was working like a well-oiled machine. Just the way she liked it. In a few hours, the Dalacari would be fleeing the outpost and the invasion force would start making headway. There were, of course, a few extra surprises she had to weaken the strength of the Federation fleet... But she would hold off on those for now. This would make the attack on Earth during the war look like child's play.

Lo'Mah had been so useful in helping her achieve this goal. She couldn't have done it without his rabid fanaticism. Soon the Delta Quadrant would welcome the Cardassian Union as the Federation collapsed under the weight of its own incompetence. What a glorious day.

"Come in." she said as she heard the door chime ring.

"Commander, you'll be happy to know that Lieutenant Mordin has been arrested. I have also dealt with at least two of the traitors on board, although there were casualties."

"I was aware of her arrest. Commander Bartlett stormed in here like a lunatic outraged by it. I have transmitted the orders to the Klingons. The Federation is in pursuit of them now but our vessels will hold them back and allow for the attack force to do its work." Kasella replied. "And casualties?"

"The Chief Engineer and the Pilot are dead. I attempted to relieve her of duty for failure to obey a direct order and she refused."

Kasella looked up, almost a little unhappy. "So you killed two members of the crew?"

"They were liabilities." Lo'Mah said.

"And you are a fool." Kasella replied. "Do you not understand what you've done?? If Bartlett finds out, she's going to go running to the Commodore with this and we're all finished."

"Then we can take out Bartlett as well." Lo'Mah said.

"Still a bloodthirsty fool." Kasella said. "We can't keep killing senior officers off until we're the only two left. They'll catch on." she added after a pause. "Now that Mordin is arrested, I can order the Klingon ships to decloak and set course for the outpost. Our vessels will join them in the attack. I will order our ship to stand down before the battle starts. We will then fire a round of quantum torpedoes on the outpost and cripple the station. Once a Dalacari is injured or killed, they become practically useless. It'll be like shooting... What's the phrase.. Fish in a barrel."

"But Bartlett is a liability." Lo'Mah said.

"If she refuses, I'll kill the bitch myself." Kasella replied. "She wouldn't be... well advised to refuse my orders. I could even kill you right now myself."

"You would not dare." Lo'Mah said.

"No... But now that you're a liability, I'm going to have to play the good obedient Starfleet Officer and relieve you if the Commodore finds out. I'll keep an eye on Bartlett. You worry about keeping the Marines unaware of who they're really working for." she said. 'Kind of like I'm doing with you, you meatheaded piece of cannon fodder.' she thought to herself.

"So our plan is on track?" the Klingon Marine asked.

"As on track as it's going to be. Commander Vargas has been arrested. That damn Vulcan in Security tipped off the right people and was too efficient. If his guts weren't splattered across this sector of space form the explosion, I'd end him myself. He won't squeal though. He knows what will happen if he does." Kasella said. "Relax, Marine. We've got this."

"Excellent. It will be a good day for them to die." Lo'Mah said.

"Just remember... If it gets back to me... I'll have no choice but to relieve you. At least officially." Bowman said. "Don't kill another member of this crew until I order you to. Do you understand?"

"Yes, Commander." Lo'Mah said.

"Good. Now... Let's try and get back on track, shall we? The fleets will be here in a matter of hours and I want Starfleet absolutely unprepared for what awaits." Bowman said
