Mission: https://wellington.pegasusfleet.site/index.php/sim/missions/id/4
Location: What was Ten Foward

Everyone on the ship had received an invitation. And it wasn't some mass e-message across the ship, or an announcement, it was a legit hand written letter with a blue wax seal, the Federation logo emblazoned on it. Each letter was personally addressed to every individual person currently aboard the ship, inviting them to the grand opening of the newly redesigned lounge, formerly known as Ten Forward, now to be known as "The Prancing Mythological Creature".

When each person arrived the first thing they notice is that the door is no longer the standard flat grey color, but more looks like real wood. Painted on door is a faded crest that seems too depict some kind of odd winged creature, but its body is so faded you can not tell which, and above it the words "The Prancing". Upon entering the lounge has been complete transformed into a medieval tavern. The seats and tables made of real wood and the walls made to look like stone decorated with house banners depicting the seals of various races of the federation, including the Ts'usugi and the Dalacari . A fireplace in the corner, the fire fake for safety reasons but still feels warm. the Lights along the wall where torches, also fake flames, but real light, as with the chandeliers.

Behind the bar stood Roger, polishing glasses. Behind him a wall filled with real bottles of Alcohol.

Both Bishara sister's walked in and T'Lisha had that wow expression on her face, while T'Lar had more of an appreciative look. Both were dressed in flowing grass green chiffon pants that hugged in the right places and flared at the bottom of the legs. Their blouses were also of a chiffon blue which hugged in the correct places as well. Their hair was down and flowing.

Thomas had put on an out fit from the Janes Bond era. His love if the secrete agent world had given him many a good time. His suit was white with silk lapels and the standard black bow tie. Black leather shoes, the only thing missing was the standard bareta that Bond always had.

Hanging onto his left arm, right hand's fingers intertwined with his left, Renee wore a red sheath dress that showed nearly as much cleavage as she could without them hanging out, hair braided back far enough, then left to fan out down the back of her neck only, The two inch matching red heels put her right at his height as she glanced around, award winning smile on her face framed with ruby earrings and a gold-chased ruby at her throat, "And it looks like we've got a few people here, my dear. No shooting them, Mister Bond."

"My love I would never do that. I am not packing the bareta my love. But I must say, you are looking every way the part of my lovely companion. You look stunning darling", he said, looking at her red dress and fitting in all the correct places.

The door swished open allowing one of the resident Ts'usugi to enter, the gentle *clack clack* of her shoes against the seeming stone floor as she turned to look at the transformed lounge around her. Wood and stone, fire and hearth... it was exquisite. She actually had a smile on her face as she approached the bar.

Garbed simply, the rabbitess had chosen to wear a frilly blue and white top, with a slip of a matching colored skirt that was tied at her waist and went well below her knees. Loose and easy to move in, it still accented the Ts'usugi's form and features well enough. The color of the dress would easily match the shine in her eyes... if Ts'usugi eyes had a shine, that is. It clashed nicely with her blonde hair.

The rabbitess stopped as she ran into Renee and her Plus One, and the science officer actually put on a smirk, "Renee, good to see you again." she commented, "You didn't call after our last encounter. I hope it wasn't something I said?" Valeria teased the woman in red.

"Oh Shit." Renee blushed, feeling it go nearly as crimson as her dress, "No, of course not, Valeria, Things just got a bit exciting after that and well..." She trailed off, "I really am sorry... Perhaps we could do something at some point?"

To Renee, she gave a nod and a soft smile, "I understand, I just wanted to make certain I didn't accidentally step on any toes. Ts'usugi and their feet, after all." she motioned down. Rabbit Feet.

"Certainly things got interesting quickly. I was arrested, imprisoned, and well... if not for Roger I might be in sickbay, or worse." she paused, "We'll coordinate something after things calm down. Enjoy the bar."

Cally. Walked in in her uniform, she had no need for those silly things called dresses and in amy case... Her jaw dropped as she saw the bar and the booze behind it. She started towards it, all but brushing aside the well-dressed rabbitess on her way to the bartender, "is it too early to start? Is that real Jack?"

Roger nodded "Everything back here is legit, we get it delivered to us every federation base we visit"

Michelle walked in, out of uniform for the first time in a while. It was nice to let her hair down at least a bit. Laura was behind her, and Jason was... well.. probably distracted with something. "Do you think he forgot?" Michelle asked.

"It's Jason. He probably had someone messaging him at the last minute, or found something to do... Or started talking to someone. We should just wave a shiny nickel in front of him." Laura said with a laugh.

"You're not wrong on that." Michelle said with a laugh.

The next entrance to the Prancing was the binary form of Rostra Tang. Previously believed to be perpetually in uniform, the Dalacari aimed to surprise with the latest in casual relaxed fashion from the heart of Dalacar space. A gentle blue single sleeve top, with matching colored leggings and earth tone sandals to complete the ensemble. Each twin was missing the opposing sleeve, giving for a mirrored look that really only twins could pull off. Rostra was captivated by the transformation the lounge had undergone. It was amazing.

Valeria gave a quick glance to everyone already present before making her way to the bar by Roger and sliding up into a stool. "It's incredible what you've done with the place."

Roger smiled "Thank you, it's my design, I always had a love for fantasy"

Temperance was a little hesitant about attending this shindig, being new to the ship she was still finding her feet. Though she had had a chance to meet a good few of the crew already, this kind of en masse get together left her feeling a little uneasy. Still, here she was, out of uniform but definitely not dressed up. Her favourite jeans and boots teamed up with a white sweater, her hair in it's customary pony tail. This was going to be a good opportunity to observe the crew in their 'natural habitat' and the way they interact with each other, it could potentially give her some valuable insight into the inner metrics of the ships crew.

She slipped through the doors quietly and looked around, taking in the scene before her. It was definitely a far cry from anything that she would have ever expected on a Federation star ship that was for sure.

Valeria gave Cally a glance, recalling her as the lady that nearly pushed her aside in her pursuit of booze. "Apologies if I stood in your way earlier." There was a barb there, but it was subdued. She then focused her attention towards the barkeep, "I'll have some black tea, if you have any. Otherwise, I'll allow the bartender to surprise me." a smirk.

Three shots already in her and a fourth in front of her, Cally glanced to the side, "Not a problem, um..." She tried to remember the name of her 'companion', "Ma-Miss Bunny Rabbit?" She asked hopefully.

"It's pronounced Boonny." she teased, extending the U sound into more of an OOOO sound. "It's a family name." she held the posture for a moment before she smirked, "I'm teasing. Valeria Mordin." she introduced, though she doubted it'd be retained behind the Jack Daniels Commemorative Memory Eraser Train.

Roger grabs a clear mug from under the table and placed it on a coaster, also pulling a metal tea infuser and a tin of black tea leave. He preps the drink, filling it with hot water from a built in dispenser. "Here you go my lady"

Cally waited for the bartender to step away again, "Miss Boo-nny Rabbit Valeria." She'd senses the doubts from Valeria's emotions with her empathy, "I have yet to really start drinking.. Calypso Skyie, like the thing above the ground." She pointed up, then remembered that they were in a ship, then shrugged.

The Ts'usugi gave Roger a nod in thanks as she claimed her teacup. As she gave it the time needed to properly infuse, she returned to Cally, "Interesting. It's excellent to meet you Calypso Skyie. Please, just Valeria. We're relaxed here, and I believe most of us are off duty." she looked around to confirm her suspicion. "My eldest brother taught me how to properly drink. He swore that no sister of his would be taken advantage of simply by being drunk."

"All right, Valeria." Off-duty was definitely different, so yeah, she could call Valeria by her name, "I learned from a bunch of Marines who thought I was an angel with my flying, and I've had a loooot of rounds bought for me over the years. There are a couple places I can't even buy my own beer.."

J'Loni waltzed into the lounge wearing what could only be described as an evening gown of Betazoid design. Deciding not to wear the typical Klingon type, she tried something different. To say the least, it showed her figure in a different way, all to femine! Betaziods ware so many different colored outfits, J'Loni had picked something that she though would catch eyes. The top of her gown was a beautiful shade of lilac with a light leaf green border with a slightly darker sky blue sash. The bottom part of the gown was a very soft light gold that shimmered as she walked. She wore a pair of two inch heeled shoes which were white and gold trimmed. To say the least she had captured the Betazoid traditional dress in good taste.

Walking up to Rostra Tang, "Good evening Rostra, how are you this lovely evening", she said.

The pair turned in sequence, and each gave J'Loni a smile, "Good evening. Oh it's such a marvelous transformation. You'd almost convince me we were in a holosuite or something but no... real wood. Or a damn good fabrication of..." and the talking twin simply stopped talking. The silent twin picked up instantly.

"... it. It's really a labor of love. Though to answer your question, I'm doing well, thank you. I hope things are going well for you as well?" she inquired. The empathy in J'Loni had no trouble reading Rostra. She was essentially an open book, emotionally speaking. It made her honest. She was joyous, excited, and impressed all at the same time.

She also was only one set of emotions, on the empathic level. Two bodies, but one cloud mentality. One cloud emotional state.

"Oh yes I am just as excited as you are Rostra, the way this place has been transformed is incredible. I still don't know how he did it but it is magnificent. If it is real wood, and I think it is, it looks wonderful. I am truly impressed and the fact that he has real alchol on the wall is most curious, although I know where he got the Scotch from", she said laughing.

William had decided he would come in later after his wife since she had decided to dress in that outfit. He of course had his own idea of what to wear. Picking out an outfit from old London, he dressed as an English gentleman. William could be an English gentleman regardless of what he wore. Putting on the out fit, he looked in the mirror. His shirt was white of course but it had gentle frills, four rows to be exact, and his vest was a pale blue with three buttons. His jacket was a royal blue with a darker blue silk lapel and a pocket that sported a light blue handkerchief with a gold boarder. The borders of the pockets were a lighter royal blue which made the jacket stand out. His pants were a slightly lighter royal blue with the standard royal blue stripe down the outside of each pants leg. His shoes were black leather with a strap over the front with a gold buckle. Fixing the dark blue bowtie, he smiled and put on the blue top hat and took his white lion headed walking stick and headed for the lounge. It took him all of ten minutes to get there but he got there. Walking through the door he spotted his wife and strolled to over to her and gently touched her on the shoulder, " Good evening Ma'am, would you care to take a stroll with me?", he asked.

J'Loni looked at him and her eyes nearly popped out of her head. "Oh my God William...you look so handsome and yes I would love a stroll with you, but after I finish talking to Rostra" she said smiling at him.

"Why yes my love, I can wait for you to finish with the beautiful lady", he said, nodding to Rostra.

"Such a gentleman, and dapper to fit." a pause from the Dalacari. "Dapper *is* the right word, yes?"

"Yes dapper and gentleman is the proper word my ladies", he said smiling.

"Yes Rostra he is truly playing the part of the Old Englishman today. The best thing is I am loving it. So romantic and honest as well. He loves doing this when there are occasions like this to dress up and impress people and meet them as well. All this is quite still new to us and for once I am glad we are all in one place so we can meet and introduce ourselves properly", she said, nodding to her as William started to pull her away and head for others to chat with.

Lt. Jg. Hawk and his wife entered wearing the traditional American Cheyenne dress. His was the Chief's headdress and his beaded chest plate along with his peace pipe in its leather sheath on his beaded belt. Wearing his high top leather moccasins allowed him to silently enter the lounge. His wife was dressed in the traditional woman's dress. White dear skin with the wedding beads and the head band with four eagle feathers in it. Her hair was braided and tied with white leather ties and had two black hawk feathers tied on each one. She also had moccasins that had small beads sewed on them in flowers.

Charlie Mc Dougal, was not to be out done in the dressing department. Not by a long shot. Being of Irish decent, he had donned his best Irish outfit. One would laugh but T'Lisha was not laughing as she was engaged to him and didn't think it out of place although her sister, T'Lar did and almost fell off her heels laughing. Charlie was wearing his Irish Kilts of his clan and he never looked better. His red hair was only accented by the blue, green plaid sash over his black vest and his skirt of green and blue plaid, pleats included moved with him as he wore his crest on the pouch that hung from his belt. His socks were pure white and his shoes were of Irish design. To say the least he looked quite the dapper Irish man. He headed straight for T'Lisha and put his arms around her and kissed her on the lips quickly. "Damn T'Lisha you look great. T'Lar What is so funny? You never saw an Irish man dress in his Kilts?", he looked at her smiling.

"Charlie if I didn't know you better I wouldn't be laughing I would be flat on my ass dying of laughter but you are Irish and there for, please forgive me but, WHEN did you two get engaged? T'Lisha why didn't you tell me either? You are never to hold secretes from me and you know it!!!" she almost shouted.

"T'Lar, look we didn't tell you cause it wasn't known until a few days ago and well you know how Charlie is. He wanted to tell you himself but I guess in all the excitement he forgot", she said.

Turning red in the face, Charlie said, "Please forgive me T'Lar but I did forget and I am sorry. But, you are invited to the wedding when we set the date", he said smiling.

Eric wasn't much the dressing kind but he did have a favorite one and it was on that you could almost call gangster/biker look. Eric had an affinity for motorcycles and gangster movies so as one might guess he dressed the part. Coming in in all leather, from his vest to his pants and boots, the only material on him was his blue denim shirt. He had, of course, a cowboy hat on but other than that he did look handsome as his clothes were snug in all the right places. To add to the look he had a pair of shades that looked just like the ones Elvis Presley wore from one of his movies. Gold rimmed with tinted lenses that mirrored everything. What wasn't noticed until she came through the doors was Christine Zen.

Christine practically flew threw the doors after him dressed as well in all leather including the boots and hat and slid up and grabbed his arm. "Hey there handsome, want to go for a spin?" she said, laughing.

Eric, surprised by the sudden appearance of Christine, spun her around and faced her, "Well lady, you look fantastic and quite good in all the right places. The leather accents your body and well hun, sure you can ride with me any day" he said, and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.

Christine, turned red, but slid her arm through his and they walked together to the bar and ordered their drinks.

Next through the doors was, relatively speaking, the newest addition to the Wellington crew. A tall and well built gentleman of a Ts'usugi, a black furred lagomorph with a blotch of white over his left eye. Since he wasn't sure what to wear, so he wore something standard and comfortable. Which equated to a simple shirt and a pair of black slack pants. He gave a chuckle at the sight before him, though. So many people dressed so hilariously, so many cultures. So completely different from his previous posting. So many colors, sights, and scents.

He looked to the walls, adorned with banners of all the different houses and cla... that was Ts'usu's flag! And that one, the sigil of the Dalacari Republic! And he recognized that one from his transfer orders. That made him actually chuckle.

Seems these Federation types bring their home with them as well.

He took a few strides in, giving a friendly nod to those he passed by. Eventually though he found his way to the bar, and gave Roger a nod. "Good welcome. What are the odds you've got something from Ts'usu back there?"

Before Roger could answer, Valeria fielded his question. "Quite high. I brought a small stock of nusu and it fabricates wonderfully." As Koh turned to the speaker, he blinked at what he was presented with. "I see a Son of Ts'usu." she greeted him with a nod and a raised tea cup. He gave a smirk and responded, "Ts'usu is wherever we are."

Valeria turned to Roger, "It's a greeting, when traveler's paths meet... and before you mention it, nusu does fabricate nicely. Just not from Insipp devices." she giggled, and then Koh gave a nod, "Well, as long as we aren't dealing with Insipp measures, I'll take a cup of nusu."

As Charles and Karen made their way to the former Ten Forward lounge, he took a moment to look her over. She had dressed in a most provocative outfit consisting of an extremely low-cut black mini-dress that accentuated her most outstanding features - her long, shapely legs and her chest. In fact, he thought if it had been any shorter and cut lower up top, it could almost qualify as just a belt.

"So do you think the way I'm dressed will attract any attention?" she asked as they reached the doors.

"I have no doubt it will," Damian answered. "In fact, to be honest, I've seen Orion slave girls who exposed less skin than you're showing right now..." he added with a grin as they stood aside to allow someone else to enter before they did.

The doors slid open and without looking ahead, Hailey walked into the lounge and stopped. Loose semi-sweat pants, t-shirt with her old Raider motto on it ('He who laughs last, Thinks fastest') and a zip-up sweatshirt with the crest of the 3rd Marine Division on it loosely on and a pair of sneakers. She glanced around and two things came into her mind, 'Jesus Christ... Is this a costume party?' She saw bikers, secret agent with a Bond Girl on his arm, an Indian Chief?' The other thought, 'Underdressed, I'm outta here.'

The Marine made a quick check that no one had noticed her, turned on her heel and ran right into someone. "Shit." She caught herself before she could fall and looked up. Her back straightened instantly as she snapped to attention, "Sir, my apologies, Commodore Myers." She sidestepped and turned in am effort to will the flag officer past her, still at attention.

Jason was in a conversation with one of the Security officers about recent events. He had been a little startled but mostly carried on. "It's all right, as you were." he said, before continuing his prior discussion.

Temp watched from her side position as Hailey spun awkwardly on her heel and fled into the corridor. Without hesitating, she slipped quietly out of the room and went after the other woman to make sure she was ok.

It wasn't long before Karen's attire did attract attention. William's head turned, tugging on J'Loni's shoulder, as his eyes gave him away. Eric, who was talking to Christine, nearly fell off he stool he sat on as Karen and Charles walked in. "Oh no, here comes miss scantily clad Karen", Christine said, and turned and grabbed Eric and steadied him back up. Thomas, who was talking to Renee, couldn't help but look as well. "Jesus Christ...don't that beat all", he said as Renee looked and kicked him in the shins, making him turn his attention back to her. Hawk didn't even chance a look since his wife was there but he could tell by the other's that some one had come in making every male head turn. Charlie wasn't even interested since T'Lisha had his full attention. Guessing that he was the only man that didn't look, really wasn't important as almost every male in the place looked at Karen as she strode with Charles.

T'Relana was a picture of beauty. Her Romulan features accentuated what she wore. Like J'Loni, she was full Betazoid and the outfit she wore was from Betazed. Blue chiffon blouse, low cut, showing her cleavage, elbow length sleeves that were tight just above the elbow allowing for the billowing effect of the sleeve, tight fitting pants whose legs were those of a genie, billowing at the ankle and shoes that were silver laced with gold trim. The color of her pants were a bright yellow with an orange sash around her waist and around her ankles. Her jewelry was very fashionable and her makeup was a gentle blue grey shade. She went just to make conversation because it was part of her job to learn about everyone on the ship. She nodded to Roger behind the bar and mingled with the crew.

As everyone started to really mingle the lights turned down low and a spot light appears around the main door. A momment later it slides open and a man walks in. His salt and pepper hair done up in a pompador, sunglasses over his eyes, sporting a chin that could kill. He was dressed somewhere between earth royalty and The King, he smiled at the crowd and waited for them to quiet down.

"Thank you everyone for coming. My name is Johnathen Xavier Wade, but you all may call me Jack. Me and my associate Roger Steven, the man behind the bar, welcome you too your new lounge. Now named The Prancing Mythological Creature. We serve real alcohol here, as well as a changing menu of real food. You can also use the replicators for a quick bite, but they opperate a little different here." He walks over to a random table "Mojito please" a mojito materializes on the table. "These are cutting edge replicators, no need for the full housing means you can order right at the table, no more interuptions." He picks the drink up and takes a sip. "So please my guests, enjoy yourselves, thank you" he raises his drink and the lights go back up.

J'Loni WAS immediately impressed with what Jack had said and quite literally ordered gagh and it suddenly appeared on the table. "William this is incredible. I have never seen such inginuity in my life, especially in a lounge. This is...unbelieveable!" she said, taking a mouthful of the gagh. "Oh my stars this is good and fresh...how in the world...is this done?" she said, taking another mouthful of the gagh. William shook his head in disbelief, "Dear God is that all you can thing of...gagh at a time like this?" he said, ordering a steak with potatoes and brussel sprouts. It appeared and he took a bite of each of the items on his plate. His eyes widened, "Damn...THIS IS GOOD!" he said, savoring the flavor and taking another mouthful.

Thomas grabbed Renee and sat her down at a table, "Let's try this out shall we?", he said ordering a hamburger with baccon, lettuce, tomatoe and peper jack cheese and a chocolate milk shake. It appeared and he took a bite of the burger. "Holy mother of heaven, Renee this is GREAT! You got to try this thing! The food is great and the shake is even better than my mother makes it!", he said grabbing another bite of the burger and washing it down with the shake. "Come on Renee, give it a worl", he said.

On the outside, Renee was all smiles and bubbles, but her eyes told a different story. "Strawberry shake, fish and chips." They appeared and she took a ginger bite of one of the pieces of fish, "Not bad, I know a place that does it better, but it's a matter of spices and details." She blinked twice, "But you and I are going to have a talk later, mister." She whispered as she grabbed her shake and took a drink, "This however, takes the cake." Her voice had returned to normal.

"Ut oh...what did I do now Renee?", he asked, suddenly stopping chewing. "Not later hun, now and I still don't know what the hell I did", he said looking into her eyes.

Her smile didn't change at all, "Oh you know..." She said softly, "And if you want to go hang out with the hussy with the big boobs, go for it. I know I'm not all that well stacked," She emphasized the words by grabbing her own chest, "But I thought you liked the way I looked, but when she walked in, you just couldn't help but look? Are these not good enough for you?"

"Yeah and so did every other guy in the place too. But...I love you and yours so I don't see the problem. I don't want her or anyone else for that matter but you can't fault a guy for looking as long as he remembers who he is with and who he is going to marry too. There is only one woman on this ship I love and that is you...and I am not going to start a scene here because it is silly to do so. She is more than a hussy, Renee back home we have another word for a woman that shows everything like that...WHORE...and that my love is what she is dressed like and I wouldn't be surprised if she was just that too!", he said, looking into her eyes and then her face. He was upset that it bothered her but he was more upset over the fact that a woman like that could come to a gathering like this dressed like that. It just wasn't proper.

'Good recovery,' Renee thought to herself, happy, no, PROUD of his response including, most especially, the 'upgrading' from hussy to whore. She readjusted her own far smaller but still decent assets to more presentable even as she smiled, "Me neither... And I haven't said yes yet, I remind you." But she said it with a smile on her face, this time.

"I know you didn't say yes my love but I love you just the way you are", he said, kissing her tenderly on the lips.

Renee rollled her eyes, but accepted the kiss as her due, "Good thing, too."

Thomas suddenly grabbed Renee and left the lounge headed for his quarters. He didn't care what others thought at his sudden leaving. All he had on his mind at that point was Renee and how much he loved her.

Michelle and Laura continued to look around, admiring the decoration of the place. They certainly outdid themselves and brought some life into what had admittedly been a pretty barren looking lounge beforehand. "I must say, Jack.. You really outdid yourself." she said.

"Well, after what you all went through I thought this would be a nice pick me up."

Koh noticed the sudden flurry of activity as Thomas snagged Renee and left, ears perked at the abruptness of it all, and then he just gave a chuckle. He figured the man with her was either a lovestruck fool, off to prove his devotion... or about to carve a notch in his case. In either case, silently from across the gulf of space, from a male of one species to a male of the other, he wished that man luck.
