Not So Fast...

Mission: https://wellington.pegasusfleet.site/index.php/sim/missions/id/3
Location: Outside Brig/Shuttle Bay 2
Timeline: Just After "If At First You Don't Succeed..."

Crewman Wise ran down the way to try and keep their plan on target. He was unaware of the fact that the conspiracy had at this point been completely unraveled. He headed towards the Marine bay and ran through the door.

"What do you want?" he said, as the Marine made a salute similar to that of the Terran Empire in the alternate universe.

The Security crewman returned the salute. "They've knocked out Lo'Mah. Do we have any orders from Bowman yet?"

"She's not responding. I'm unsure why." he said. "We need to assume she's been captured and carry on without her." the Marine said to Wise. "Do you have the material from Science?" he asked

"Yes." the guard said. "I was doing a scan to ensure science was secure when Lieutenant Walker was arguing with someone, and managed to capture her voice. It released the lock on the firedust."

"Good. Here are the coordinates Bowman gave us... I'm not sure what we're supposed to find there, but we have a buyer for it. Something to make some particularly nasty explosives. She never said who it was though." the Marine Captain replied.

Mok'Tor, alerted by J'Loni, had leashed Lone Wolf and proceeded to do a deck by deck search from deck 12 up towards the main shuttlebay which was his eventual goal. Tapping his combagde, "Mok'Tor to all security, brig breach in progress. Un known participants, sudue and detain all thought to be participants. Mar'tok out!", and he closed the com. "Let's go Lone Wolf...on to the hunt", he said, and the two started out.

"Security likely knows what's happened." Wise said. "Captain, if we're going to do this, we've got to do this now."

Hooper stood up from his seat. "Do you have the containers?"

"Yeah. They're in this bag. Major Lo'Mah and I were going to make a run before that bunny bitch caught up with us." Wise replied.

"Move out, Crewman!" Hooper said, as the two caught the turbolift. "At least it's quiet and half the ship's asleep down here." he added before taking a turbolift. "Shuttle Bay 2." he called out as they stepped in.

"Hooper to Bowman." he said, tapping his commbadge, waiting for a response. "Commander, come in." he paused.

"Shit." Wise said. "Maybe she's been captured."

"Well.. we've come this far, haven't we?" Hooper replied. "No going back now."

Mok'Tor and the wolf had been patroling deck by deck making their way towards the shuttlebay. Neither knew that soon they would be head to head with the team of escapees and the highly prized firedust container destined for the Cardassians. His job was to prevent this and grab those in the process. He only hoped it would be Lo'Mah and his party. That would make his day!!

The two headed toward the shuttle bay, unaware of what was going on. Suddenly, they heard the Red Alert alarm go off. "I think we're screwed." Wise said.

"We'll blow the shuttle to bits if we have to. And the fighter bays." Hooper said. "They don't stand a chance." he added. "The Organization fleet must have finally arrived."

"Fleet. Right." Wise replied as they got to the shuttle. "This stuff is apparently extremely volatile. Store it somewhere safe, otherwise you'll end up like Ross and the others."

"Got it." Hooper said as he approached the shuttle bay. "At least this one is probably quiet. We can just be in and out. Damn, I hope Lo'Mah escapes soon."

Coming around the corner, Lone Wolf dropped to the ground, ears laid back on his head. "Heard something boy", Mok'Tor said, as he un clipped the leash from his collar. They both stayed put and listened for the tiniest sound that would give the would be escapees away. It was only a matter of time now.

Wise looked at him as the door opened. "He already set the coordinates we need to head to" as the ship rocked from the attacks. "What the hell did we send to attack? It feels like we're taking a beating."

"Unsure." Hooper replied. "I just hope that I get to shoot Bartlett. What a self righteous little nobody. I can't wait to see her beg like a true Federation coward. The weakest of humanity." he said as the door opened.

Lone Wolf flattened even more, announcing he was ready to spring, but Mok'Tor put a gentle hand on his back, "Shh wait my friend...Give them time to think they have succeeded before you pounce hear?", he said. The Wolf's ears twitched in acknowledgment and waited.

Wise entered with Hooper pointing his rifle to catch any security. They must be too busy with the battle at hand to do much. He walked into the shuttle and placed the firedust into a secure facility. "The mighty Federation. For all their principle, and all their petty morality, they can't stop an exchange of goods. Pathetic." he said.

"Let's start the launch sequence and get out of here." he said as he sat in the pilot's seat.

Mok'Tor patted Lone Wolf on the back and motioned for him to enter the shuttle quietly. He moved like only a wolf could, silent pads barely making a sound. His breathing was slow and deliberate as he came up on the left side of the pilots seat. With one clean leap he was face to face with a terrified man! "Oh! Shit! Wolf!", was all his voice said as his mouth clopped shut. The other pilot, was so distracted by Lone Wolf's sudden appearence, failed to see Mok'Tor move up on his right, looking in his face, " Going somewhere gentlemen?", he said.

"Come on... Do you really want to actually do this?" Hooper said as he tried to reach for the rifle the wolf caused him to drop in shock. "The hell are these Federation folks going to do for you?" he added as Wise was pressed down.

"If you wish to keep your arm, I suggest you keep it still, or you will lose it. As for your remark, the Federation and the Klingon Allliance will remain intact in spite of you stupid attempts to destroy a peace we have fought so hard to keep! Now just shut up, move slowly and leave the fire dust where you dropped it. Move the wrong way and Lone Wilf will make sure you don't walk again!", he said.

"Do as he says." Hooper said. "We'll have our revenge another day." he added.

"Ass kissing Federation thug." Wise said. "You can't keep doing things this way forever, you know. Holding hands talking about how to be nice to each other. I'd expect a Klingon to actually have some balls. Or are you wearing a pink tutu under that uniform?"

Mok'Tor moved so fast Wise didn't have the time to duck the flying fist that plowed into his mouth shattering several teeth. "You were saying Wise? Hm...I thought so", he said as he pulled both from the shuttle, Lone Wolf on one side with the container snuggly fitted to his side and Mok'Tor on the other as they wete escorted to the brig. Upon entering the brig, he shoved both Hooper and a bloody mouthed Wise into the same cell, walked over to an irate Bowman and said, "Can I get you a glass of Kanar Ma'am?", and laughed. Looking at the security guard he told him to get medical to look at Wise's mouth as well.

Wise looked at the Cardassian... "Who the hell is this?"

Mok'Tor laughed a Klingon belly laugh, " That my bloody mouthed friend is the former Commander Bowman, other wise known as Gul Kasella I believe, of the 10th Order", he said.

"That's right. You were all working for the Cardassian Empire." Kasella said. "A pity you all didn't work hard enough."

Hooper looked at the Gul "You spoonhead bitch!" he said before Kasella shoved him into a bulkhead and rendered him unconscious.

"And you" she said, looking at a bloodied Wise. "I think you've somehow said enough. Unless you want to add a concussion to that list of injuries?" she waited for a response. "I thought not."
