At The Bar

Jack was busy as the bar cleaning up after a rush during the latest off shift, cleaning up many messy glasses, actually washing them rather then running through the replicators.

Ensign Leyara Hamuul steps the bar the faint rustle of luminescent feathers betraying her arrival. she looked around carefully surveying the area taking in every detail.

The bar was a hell of a sight compared to the rest of the ship. While the halls and other rooms where sleak and very much Star Fleet. This room was like out of a fairy tail. Stone walls, wooden chairs and tables, tabards with the symboles of the various allied planets aligning the walls, and in the corner appear to be an actual lit hearth. The bar was equally adorned in slick lacquered wood and real bottles of alcohol behind it.

Jack looked up and smiled. "Ah, i wondered when you would show up, what can i get for you?"

Leyara looked at the human a moment "Yes one Romulan ale and a glass of ethanol the more pure the better please," she said her voice a soft sort of purr that seemed at odds with her appearance.


"Pure ethanol... i mean it probably won't kill you, but that's gotta taste god awful" Jack dutifully pours a glass of Romulan ale and one of pure ethanol. "So, how's ship life treating you?"

Layara takes the glass of Ethanol and sets it to the side she then takes a sip of her Romulan ale "I suppose it is treating me well. this is my first time on a federation vessel since i graduated from the Academy," she says her tone and inflection very precise. one of her feathers discreetly dips into the ethanol and the level of the glass starts falling rapidly.

"Well, make sure you make a stop to the captains office if you haven't already. You want anything to eat? soak up some of that pure booze you been pulling up?"

" that wont be necessary I have met my metabolic requirements adequately with this, your concern is appreciated however," she says her feather rippling with a bio luminescent glow.

"where might I find the captain at this time?"

"Around now, likely in her ready room. If that'll be all, good luck too you out there!"

Layara dipped her head slightly " thank you your help is most appreciated,"
